This website has been created by parents and grandparents with children or grandchildren who have RSD/CRPS. RSD, Reflex Sympathetic Dystrophy, also known as CRPS or Complex Regional Pain Syndrome, is a painful chronic debilitating invisible disease that affects millions of adults and children.

RSD IS A CHRONIC PAIN Condition. RSD is a malfunction of the central nervous systems, which causes pain and additional symptoms. The additional symptoms can include: dramatic changes in the color and temperature of the skin over the affected limb or body part, accompanied by intense burning pain, skin sensitivity, sweating, and swelling.  RSD Fact Sheet

Our goal is to create more of an awareness of what RSD is, to the world! Another goal is to give parents and children a place to go where there is always understanding. Each one of us has gone through weeks, months and sometimes years in trying to find information on RSD or to get a diagnosis for our friends or family members. We all have or have had family and friends that don’t understand the invisible pain our children endure. Medical professional, schools and administrative staff don’t believe or understand the pain our children are living in each and every day. Due to this misunderstanding, they label our children as fakers or children who want attention. RSD IS REAL!

Our Children need a voice. We don’t want anyone else to not have a place for information or hope. You are not alone anymore. We are here to help.

Our website is going to be ever changing. We are providing as much information and/or links to information as we can. We want to be your last stop on your journey into RSD/CRPS. Pass the link along to everyone and anyone who will listen. We need your help to make EVERYONE Aware of what RSD is!!!
